Why is Christmas the only holiday with music?

Why is Christmas the only holiday that has music that everyone is familiar with? Everyone knows Jingle Bells and Joy to the World. Why dont we have music that everybody knows for Valentines or Thanksgiving or any other holiday for that matter?Christmas is the only holiday that has music that everyone knows. Why?

I really have never put that much thought into what you are asking, however, I really do not think it is that big of a deal...do you really?

Memorial Day/Independence Day - PLENTY of patriotic songs out there, America the Beautiful, any Sousa march



Halloween - Monster Mash



Thanksgiving - Over the River and Through the Woods



sorry I don't have any for Flag Day, Arbor Day, Daylight Savings Time, President's Day, Veteran's Day, Earth Day......etc.
