A Christmas poem for the kids - Have you seen Old Santa?

Have you seen Old Santa

Have you seen Old Santa

He's jolly, round (not fat)

He wears a bright red outfit

And a pom-pom on his hat

He has a sack of presents

And he rings his bell all day

My Mom says he delivers them

By trusty deer and sleigh

I never get to see him

Cos I'm always fast asleep

In bed I am on Xmas eve

Dad says I shouldn't peep

Cos Santa's very busy

Has a lot of toys to share

His Xmas Eve deliveries

Can take him anywhere

To houses where the boys and girls

Who all year have been good

Reward them all for being that?

Old Santa thinks he should

But if you see Old Santa

You'll know him very well

He's jolly, fat with a pom-pom'd hat

And a happy ringing bell

Does anyone have more Kid's Xmas poems to share?

A Christmas poem for the kids - Have you seen Old Santa?
Santa calls on Christmas Eve

Or so my Mam does say,

I`ve never seen him come or go

I`m always well away.

I`m tucked in bed

Where`s nice and warm,

Snoring and dreaming

Of Christmas morn.

But poor Old Santa`s out

In all that cold old snow

He must be happy `bout it tho`

`Cos he`s always singing `Ho ho ho`!
Reply:Now my kids want to know, "Mom, Is Santa for real?"

When they were younger I gave them this spiel:

"He slides down the chimney, he's jolly and fat"

"But what about now mom, we live in a flat!!?"

"And if he's so heavy, should we really leave cheese

If he gets any bigger he won't see his knees!"

All of these questions, I don't know the answers,

if they keep up like this , I'll just ask the Yamster!
Reply:"'Twas the night before Christmas, and all through the garage, not a creature was stirring, not even a Dodge.

The tires were hung on the wall with great care;

In hopes that St. Nicholas would fill them with air."

I remember this from my childhood.
Reply:This is precious. I love it. Happy Holidays!
