can anything be done about a nursing home who does not have any call bells for patients to get help? They also have some Christmas bells on a handle that the patients are to use if they need assistance and if the bells are where they can find or reach them.

First, notify the Director of Nursing. Provide documentation ( write down the issues). This should be handled quickly. If not, contact the Administrator. This issue is a violation of patients' rights. If the situation is not resolved, call The State, Board of Health. I hope that this is useful.

report everything and they will go check it out and hopefully get something done about it.
