What is ur christmas eve routine?
lol well my family used to decorate and have a huge dinner, but now that I'm older my parents don't worry with it, except for the dinner part hmm my sister and I are 16 so we know about santa and his dirty little secret -- he isn't real -- lol

But I can understand where your comming from though, my fondest child hood memories are the joys of christmas, and I'm glad that you are a parent who is trying to instill that feeling into your child/children GJ
Reply:We had already Christmas eve yesterday Night.

First we were sitting in the formal lounge and I was reading the story about Jesus birth. Then we talked about what Christmas means with our son who is 8.

I was preparing the "Christmas" room in our rumpus room with Christmas tree and beautiful decoration during the day, but the room was kept closed for the kids. (My son and neighbor kids).

Then my husband watched some Christmas stories with our son in his office.

I pretended I work in the kitchen to prepare Christmas dinner. But I did lid all the candles and then when it was dark I did ring the Christmas bell and then heard them calling out that they heard a bell and then they came and we said to our son to hurry, we might still see Santa Claus (Yes, he is 8 but still believes in Santa Claus and we do not explain him otherwise -:)

Okay we looked out of the door to the garden, if we would still see Santa with his sledge and the rendeirs. By the way, my son came into the kitchen in late afternoon and told me that he wants to prepare carrots for the reindeer and some cookie and milk. He then prepared the carrots beautifully. He cut them and arranged them into a smiling face. As I made some

muffins, he then took one muffin for Santa and prepared a glass of milk in a special cup. As he was not allowed into the Christmas room, he gave the things to my husband, who arranged it on the table and already took a big bite out of the muffin, ate some carrot and drank some milk.

Okay after the bell did ring we went into the beautiful room and I was sitting there on the piano playing silent night and my husband and son did the singing. It was beautiful.

Then we wished us a merry Christmas and said a prayer to thank God that he did send Jesus to earth more then 2000 years ago to teach us humans about what God wants from us and about Love.

Then we looked under the tree and our son asked if he can give us the presents and so he wondered that he got the most presents and he was so happy to get a big Leggo set.

He said this was his best Christmas ever. (He sais that every year)

Then we had Christmas dinner, really festive. And then we watched Christmas by Candlelight. We live here in Australia.
Reply:No! I chose not to lie to my children. We believe in God and that is enough and full filling for us.
