Can you answer this math puzzle?

Mr. Smith is going to put up a Christmas tree. Help Mr. Smith keep his tree balanced. Look at the following weights:

Candle= Ornament Bulb + Candy Cane

Bell= Candle + Ornament Bulb

Bell + Bell= Candy Cane + Candy Cane + Candy Cane

If one candle is placed on one side of the tree, how many bulbs will need to be placed on the opposite side to keep it balanced?

Can you answer this math puzzle?
2B= 3CC therefore B = 1.5CC

B = C+O therefore C+ O = 1.5CC

C= O + CC therefore O + CC + O = 1.5CC

O+O = 1.5CC - CC

so 2O = .5 CC

so CC = 4O

Finally

C = O + 4O = 5 ornaments
