All you budding Martha Stewarts-- I want to decorate our tree room with a theme (such as "Silver Bells" "Winter Wonderland"
"Starry Night" or something like that) I don't really wanna string popcorn. Any ideas? Thanks.
Ideas for making Christmas decorations?
I made a wreath last night. Took the metallic garland and wrapped it around a styrofoam form then glued multi-colored class ornaments all over it! Looks awesome.
Also, go to the craft store and purchase the clear class bulb ornaments. Get acrylic paint. Take the hanger off the bulb and pour tiny amounts of acrylic paint inside the ornament. Swirl the paint around by turning the bulb around. Don't use too much paint or it will never dry. Leave the hanger off overnight for the bulb to dry. I gave these as presents many years ago and get requests for them all the time. They are super cheap to make.
Reply:I have made decoration out of the aluminium tin foil. I find it easy to shape it in any form you like and it's even not too difficult to shape a bell that doesn't look flat! They shine on the tree really nice! My theme was made with tin foil and red bows, looked awesome! Good Luck and Merry Christmas!
Reply:you can get some pinecones and glitterize them...you could do white glitter gold silver...you could get picks of holly and ice them with white glitter...you could also get a wreath of iced branches and cut it apart and use them as picks on your tree...you could do stars from cardboard...put foil on them and put white glitter on them
