different ideas. We finally decided to use bells. I found some in Target that were perfect, but I didn't get them when I saw them %26amp; now can't find them anywhere. The website doesn't have them %26amp; the store can't order them.
So we have to go with something different.
Which is ok.
The only thing is is that on the back of the placecard I was going to put a little note about the guests using the bell as a Christmas tree ornament.
Now the problem.
After searching online for options I have come across two that I like. (He doesn't care and thinks I am worrying too much about silly decisions, like napkins and bells, but anyway) I like the two below.
Seen other heart bell placecards %26amp; I do not like how they look.
So it is down to these two. But remember, the goal is for the guests to take them home %26amp; put on their Christmas tree. I know that a lot people won't do that, but I have my hopes!
Also, should we tie a ribbon in our colors around bell to make it easier to hang?
Hi. I have a question about place cards. Or actually place card holders. After going back and forth with?
i would go for the 2nd one
the first looks like a wedding favour, and the second, whilst still looking like a favour will blend into a tree with the other decorations, the 1st would look like a favour hanging on a tree, the people that were at your wedding will always remember where they got it no matter what it looks like, but would be more inclined to use it if it blends
Reply:Yes the second one is better. I would put it on my tree. Every ornament tells a story.
Reply:Here are some other ones.....

I would hang it on my tree.We got a Christmas ball ornament from a wedding one year with the names of the bride and groom on them. I hung it up every year as a reminder to pray for them or at least have fond memories. Unfortunately it broke one year during a move. I love the idea!
best wishes........................
Reply:I would go with the 2nd option because the first does look a little awkward, but whatever your choice . . . I would definitely put it on my tree!
Reply:the second one looks better but the first one is fine too and cheaper. i would hang either one on my tree. the ribbon looks good on the first but i wouldn't put it on the second.
Reply:I personally wouldn't put either on my christmas tree. Are you getting married at christmas? If not it is silly to try and think f these as ornaments. People will just throw them away or leave them on the table. Sorry.
Reply:i would say this one http://www.wilton.com/store/site/product... the other one is abit tacky!! Let them decide how they want to hang it!!
Reply:I like the Wilton one. Did you ask Target for the name of the manufacturer of the bell? You may be able to contact them or visit thier website and have more luck. Good luck %26amp; congradulations:)
Reply:The bell idea is cute. I actually bought mine from Oriental Trading too. Just remember, to purchase one extra box. Luckily I did and some of them were not so "in shape" so I had extras.
As far as using the placecard holder as an Xmas ornament, I would scratch that. Placecard holders are generally small and would look insignificant on a large Xmas tree. Plus, guests leave them at the tables anyways unless it's a candle holder or something like that.
Just stick with something simple and if you want to incorporate your colors in it, then put a ribbon at the top of the bell (where the holder connects to the bell).
Good luck %26amp; Congratulations!
Reply:million words would not bring you back, I know, because I've tried. Neither would a million tears. I know, because I've cried.
