"The color Green"

Green

Green is the beginning of life.

Green is the smell of nature.

Green is the days of spring after winter.

Green is smell of life in the air.

Green is the taste of green apples.

Green is the feeling you get when you see your dead plant back alive again.

Green is the sound of plants drinking the rain.

Green is the feeling of raindrops on you face.

Green is the smell of the ground after it rained.

Green is the sound of frogs in a pond.

Green is the sound of trees whispering with the wind.

Green is the sound of echoes of water you hear in the forest.

Green is the sound of the rain dropping on plants.

Green is the smell of fresh mowed grass.

Green is the taste of a cold mountain dew on a hot day.

Green is the color of Irish day.

Green is the color of Christmas when mixed with red.

Green is the sound of the bells at Christmas Eve.

Green is the smell of Christmas trees.

Green is the taste of green peppermint candy canes.

Green is a day at the park.

Reply:I know this may seem redundant, but it's too repetitive. The imagery is great and the mechanics are fine but the presentation is simply boring. I like it but think of doing something besides "green is...green is....green is....". This is not a poem yet but I see great potential for one.
Reply:Green is my favorite color. This poem reflects many aspects of green.
