Is the Product Red RAZR coming to Canada?

Been following the coverage for the Red RAZR Sprint US is promoting, and noticed that their service is on the CDMA band. If it does cross the border, there's every possibility of the phone being sold under Bell/Telus services, as Fido and Rogers use GSM.



My dilemna is this: my current plan with Bell is pretty good (they don't offer it to new customers anymore) but my phone is on its last legs and the selection of potential replacements offered by Bell is paltry at best. This Christmas I was going to ask my parents for a new cell phone (switching from Bell to Rogers in the process), but now I'm not so sure.



I'd love to get the Red RAZR if and when it comes out in Canada, seeing as Project RED's continuing into 2007. But if I switch over now and it later comes out on my old provider - being unhappy is gonna be an understatement. Can anyone out there confirm so I know whether or not to wait?

it won't be offered outside of the us anytime soon. project red only has a contract w/ sprint nextel on the red rzr and no other carriers will be carrying it in the near future.
