I need the title and / or author of a christian based book series.?

I'm looking for a series I read in bible camp as a tween - maybe 1990ish? All I can recall is there was an older sister, Bronwyn, who got married in the series to an older friend of the fathers. There were several characters, but the main one was a girl, about 11 or 12, I would think, since the first book I remember reading she was having a birthday party, and finally being allowed to dance. At one point, I think the kids all went to their grandfathers, since the mother was in the "family way", then the girl came back to help....is this ringing a bell to anyone? There was a Christmas scene, or maybe even a whole book, where the characters were in a church play, and the brother kept mising rehearsals, because he was unsure of his faith. I would love to find this, so I hope someone has an answer! Thanks.
