Christmas/holiday songs for wedding?
Dance of the Sugarplum Faeries is a good processional.
The Gift (Collin Raye, James Brickman) is beautiful and perfect for Christmas weddings.
Winter snow is falling down
Children laughing all around
Lights are turning on
Like a fairy tale come true
Sitting by the fire we made
You're the answer when I prayed
I would find someone
And baby I found you
CHORUS
All I want is to hold you forever
All I need is you more every day
You saved my heart
From being broken apart
You gave your love away
And I'm thankful every day
For the gift
Watching as you softly sleep
What I'd give if I could keep
Just this moment
If only time stood still
But the colors fade away
And the years will make us grey
But baby in my eyes
You'll still be beautiful
CHORUS
(piano solo)
CHORUS
All I want is to hold you forever
All I need is you more every day
You saved my heart
From being broken apart
You gave your love away
I can't find the words to say
That I'm thankful everyday For the gift
For reception/dancing:
Baby It's Cold Outside
All I Want for Christmas is You
Merry Christmas, With Love
Santa Baby
Reply:All i want for christmas is you - mariah carey
As beautiful as you-Jim Brickman (there's a christmas version)
Reply:Now would be a good time to go to the library and check out a bunch of Christmas CDs, since nobody will likely have them checked out. I borrowed a ton of them before Christmas, and now my Christmas list on my iPod has over 150 songs, ranging from Garth Brooks to Andy Williams.
Frank Sinatra, Harry Connick Jr., have entire Christmas albums that would be nice. Coldplay does an outstanding rendition of Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas.
Look for the Now That's What I call Christmas CDs, and one called Superstar Christmas.
Also, check out Itunes Essentials. They have several Christmas lists of different varities.
PS - Skip Fairytale of New York. If you look up the lyrics, you'll see why.
Reply:Here are some good dance ones for your reception
