for the Salvation Army or do you find more hands on ways to help others at Christmas?
Do you volunteer your time to ring the bell?
I do things my own way, attracting very little attention to how I help others.
Reply:No, I would never ring a bell for or donate money to a charitable organization that discriminates against people.
Reply:I have never done this before.
Reply:I have dropped a few dollars in the bucket. i didnt know i could volunteer something to look into thanks
Reply:I've never rang the bell but I always find some way to give and to help other at Christmas as well as during the rest of the year!!
Reply:I donate cooked meals to salvation Army, from Thanksgiving till after New Years.
Reply:I prefer more personal volunteer activities where I get to meet the people I help. I always feel so much better about my contribution when I can attach it to a person.
Reply:HAHA I use to.. My momma use to have my sister an I ring the bell every year for like 3-4 years... :) Of course with our cute lil faces.. who could resist?? Right auntie? It was funny though my dad an I were at the mall the other day.. an he goes "GAHH I FEEL SO BAD WALKING PAST THESE PEOPLE" . . . . I can't handle the cold anymore so I dont see myself doing that again anytime soon.... Love you!
Reply:I will give one lucky bucket some money for the season. I like walking down Michigan Ave because sometimes people get creative. There was a guy playing a sax next to his bucket. If you go down on weekends, near Watertower, they have the actual Salvation Army people singing and play instruments. It's like a little private concert.
Reply:I've done it a few times. Brr!!
