My class is 12 two year olds and I need a few songs the can sing. Not jingle bells or frosty. Maybe some action songs or something. I've gone through so many books and none pop out at me! Help

Reply:Rudolph the red nose raindeer
Reply:When I was twelve, I was in a class with all girls. We liked the songs that "echoed" like "Silver Bells" and "Do you hear what I hear?"

I have always liked "Go tell it on the Mountain"

The "joyous" Christmas songs are my favorites "Joy to the World"

and "Oh, Come all ye Faithful"
Reply:Hmm search yahoo - EVIL: X-MAS SONGS

get a kik :P
Reply:My kids did Drummer Boy last year. They are ow 3 %26amp; 2. It was really sweet. They all marched in a row, and pretended to beat their drums! All the while there was this kid in the front and center yelling the lyrics.

So you get the reason for the season, but a child's take.

Good luck to your class!

Amy

THE FRIENDLY BEASTS

Jesus our brother, kind and good

Was humbly born in a stable rude

And the friendly beasts around Him stood,

Jesus our brother, kind and good.

"I," said the donkey, shaggy and brown,

"I carried His mother up hill and down;

I carried her safely to Bethlehem town."

"I," said the donkey, shaggy and brown.

"I," said the cow all white and red

"I gave Him my manger for His bed;

I gave him my hay to pillow his head."

"I," said the cow all white and red.

"I," said the sheep with curly horn,

"I gave Him my wool for His blanket warm;

He wore my coat on Christmas morn."

"I," said the sheep with curly horn.

"I," said the dove from the rafters high,

"I cooed Him to sleep so He would not cry;

We cooed him to sleep, my mate and I."

"I," said the dove from the rafters high.

Thus every beast by some good spell,

In the stable dark was glad to tell

Of the gift he gave Immanuel,

The gift he gave Immanuel.

"I," was glad to tell

Of the gift he gave Immanuel,

The gift he gave Immanuel.

Jesus our brother, kind and good.

You'll have to find a recording of it somewhere for the tune, though. There might be a samle of it in an online CD store.
