Aren't you depressed because Christmas and New Year are over?

There should be like a closure day, where there is a big party to celebrate that holidays are over with someone ringing a bell or something like that

Aren't you depressed because Christmas and New Year are over?
aw you need closure? maybe you could see a holiday therapist or sumthing.

i'm relieved actually that it's over. now i have to get the bills paid b4 it all starts over again.

but ya your right, someone should announce:

ok the holidays are over, everyone return to your boring jobs, and sad lives. thank you for participating!
Reply:Yeah. I dont want to go back to school!!!
Reply:no...I'm still in the New Year...it's not over til 09
Reply:The New Year isn't over until Jan. 1, 2009!

As for Christmas... I don't mind because I know my birthday, Easter, Valentine's Day, and Spring Break are just around the corner!

I think a "closure day" would have the same depressing effect as Labour Day.
Reply:No, I felt a sense of relief actually.
Reply:No, I'm happy christmas and new year are over. They produce too much stress!
Reply:yes, but that's life. before you know it, it'll be back!
Reply:No, I'm happy they're over with, but I have a friend who makes a big party the beginning of Feb. as a "lets get rid of the winter blues" It's great.

Happy New Year!!!!!!
Reply:I'm cool, it'll be back before you know it and there's tons of other things to look forward to.
Reply:Nope, I'm working on Imbolc and Valentine's day. Then my birthday, St Patrick's day, and Easter. Then my son's birthday, Beltane, and Memorial day. Then Midsummer, my daughter's birthday, and then... my hangover doesn't get going until after the 4th of July.
Reply:In many countries, Jan 6, Epiphany or Three Kings Day is exactly what you describe...a closure day. One last party, and then things quiet down till Mardis Gras
Reply:oh he** no..i hate that time of year..its annoying..but it will be back soon enough..
